We’re excited to meet you. Our goal to assess your oral health, find the best solutions to problems, and give you the information you need to make choices that make sense for you.
The first time you visit us, you will undergo a comprehensive examination so that we can gain a full understanding of your needs and how to address them. We will explain everything along the way and create a plan to help you maintain or improve the health of your teeth and gums. If you have any questions along the way, just ask!
We also understand that your needs aren’t always about your oral health alone. If you face any barriers to caring for your teeth and gums or to accessing dental care, please let us know. We will do our best to make you feel comfortable and ensure you have the right supports.

Your appointment time is exclusively yours since we never double-book appointments, which means that our office runs on time all day, every day. We value your time and devote ourselves entirely to your care.
Dr. Shepherd is available after-hours and on weekends for dental emergencies. We recognize that time is of the essence when it comes to unexpected dental issues and make every effort to accommodate your needs to help you get back to a healthy, pain-free life.

We are always happy to provide any assistance you may need regarding insurance, payment, and financing issues. We submit all insurance claims for you, help you keep track of your benefits, and submit pre-authorizations to ensure there are no surprises when it comes to your insurance claims. A variety of payment plans are available, including 12-month interest-free financing for more extensive treatment. We accept check, cash, and major credit cards. We also accept most PPO plans and CareCredit.
If you are unable to keep your appointment for any reason, we request that you provide us with at least 24-hour notice to allow us the opportunity to offer the appointment to another patient.
